Synopsis
Hostile Environments is a two part documentary series commissioned by RTÉ, in which Ruth followed the lives and times of Irish private security contractors operating in hostile environments across the world. The series was produced by Tony Deegan and presented by Irish actor, Liam Cunningham (Game Of Thrones, The Guard, Hunger). The first programme saw them follow ex Irish Ranger, Paul Bolger to West Africa in search of diamond dealers. In episode two, they followed Irish Security Operatives negotiating Somalian pirates in the Seychelles.
