Synopsis
In the ground breaking RTE documentary, Traveller’s Guide, Ruth and her documentary crew travelled half way across the planet with a member of the Irish Traveller community, Paddy Collins to live with one of Brazil’s most colourful and remote indigenous tribes, the Wauja in the heart of the Amazonian rain forest. As well as offering a glimpse into this diverse and little-known community, the documentary immerses itself in the social and cultural rituals of the Wauja and explores the issues that this fascinating tribe face on the edge of our modern world.
